Beto’s Everton future is in the mix with the striker reportedly seeking a move to Italy after a poor tenure so far with the Toffees.

Everton fans are hoping for attacking reinforcements this window as Beto is seemingly on his way out of Goodison Park.

Serie A side Torino has increased the pressure on the capture of Beto in the past few days as Tuttosport reported an agreement was ‘close’ in the deal.

However, despite the reports, Beto may not be going anywhere at this current moment.

Everton have ‘not agreed’ a deal for Beto move to Torino

The deal looked done and dusted as Beto was spotted at the airport and the Everton fanbase would’ve assumed his Toffees career was coming to an end.

However, journalist, Alan Myers has reported that ‘Everton have not agreed any deal for Beto to leave on loan or permanently with any club, contrary to reports’.

This has certainly put a spanner in the works and will only add to the frustration of Everton fans with Beto still at the club therefore delaying any incoming signings.

Beto transfer saga could reflect badly on The Friedkin Group

With Everton’s new owners The Friedkin Group already having a lot on their plate, Beto’s transfer saga will be the last thing they need.

Sean Dyche could stay at Everton until a CEO is appointed which will no doubt divide the fanbase who have mixed opinions on the Everton manager after recent form.

Now, with Beto staying or leaving it will develop even more anger for Everton fans who will be expecting new signings this transfer window.

The likelihood is leaning towards Beto departing after his poor form since making the £25 million move to Goodison Park from Udinese.

Beto’s move is seemingly delaying the inevitable but as far as all parties are concerned, he will remain an Everton player for the time being.
