That said, there is now an opportunity to sign a very talented Manchester United forward who is expected to leave Old Trafford.
Everton should try to sign Joshua Zirkzee
According to Sky Sports, Manchester United are expecting Joshua Zirkzee to leave the club this summer.
Juventus have already registered their interest in Zirkzee, but they are first of all pursuing a deal to sign Randal Kolo Muani, who is their top target.
So, there is a clear run at Zirkzee as it stands, and it would be a pretty feasible deal to do for the Toffees.
There are reports that suggest the 25-year-old could depart for just £22m, which seems like a bargain.
Moyes has been tracking Zirkzee since the autumn, and the club considered a move in January before Jack Grealish’s injury forced them to pivot their plans towards a wide player.

Admittedly, the Netherlands international’s goal record at United is pretty poor, as he’s netted just nine goals in 75 appearances.
But he would quite rightly argue that he hasn’t been given a proper chance, starting just 19 Premier League games across his two-year spell.
At Bologna, Zirkzee was considered one of the most exciting forwards in Europe. Not only did he score a respectable 11 goals in his final season, but he also created a whopping 43 chances.
The former Bayern Munich star would make others around him better players at Everton, as he’d be able to drop in and create chances for the likes of Iliman Ndiaye and Tyrique George.
