Everton could look towards the Brazilian market amid speculation around a move for Palmeiras talent Allan.
The January transfer market is inching ever closer, but Everton are still bedding in summer additions.
Merlin Rohl is being eased into action, Tyler Dibling hasn’t played a big role yet, and Adam Aznou hasn’t featured at all.
David Moyes is looking to bring those players along gradually, but may also eye up potential January signings.

Everton linked with Palmeiras talent Allan
Everton may continue to look for young talents with potential resale value under The Friedkin Group.
Spanish newspaper AS now report that Everton are interested in signing Palmeiras talent Allan.
It’s stated that Fulham and West Ham are also keen, while clubs in Portugal are taking a look as well.
Palmeiras don’t want to sell Allan, and they are protected by an enormous €100million (£88million) release clause in his contract, even if his price tag won’t be anywhere near that value.
ESPN Brasil reported in October that Palmeiras had already rejected a bid of around £18million from Zenit St Petersburg.
Palmeiras allegedly believe that Allan can be worth up to €30million (£26.5million), and will hold out for a higher price as a result.
Everton, therefore, need to come up with a significant January bid, and fans will understandably have doubts.
The Toffees invested in youngsters over the summer and have yet to see much of a return.
Investing another £20million-plus on a talent for the future may be viewed as a luxury by Everton fans, even with Allan impressing in Brazil.

Who is Everton target Allan?
Allan has emerged through the Palmeiras ranks after leaving Figueirense as a teenager.
The 21-year-old made his first team debut earlier in 2025 and hasn’t looked back since.
Allan has bagged two goals and six assists in 48 first-team games for Palmeiras, sparking interest from Everton and others.
Allan primarily plays as an attack-minded midfielder, but he has also featured out wide in Brazil.
While he is a completely different player from the Allan who previously played for Everton, Allan looks to be a talent for the future and could be one to watch for the January window.
