Everton have multiple transfer targets juggling all at once at the moment, as far as we are aware.
Having already added three new faces, fans were instantly content with a summer laden with far more activity than they planned.
But, as more and more information floods in, it is quickly becoming clear that this is far from the end of their business.
Now, we spoke to one well-informed reporter, who has detailed a new permanent target coming out of left field.
Everton plot sneaky Jack Harrison transfer plan
Chatting exclusively to Everton.News, transfer journalist Graeme Bailey gave us the lowdown on Kevin Thelwell’s plans for the season.
First outlining Jesper Lindstrom’s future, before detailing Everton’s plans to sign Wilfried Gnonto, his third and final topic was a far more intriguing one.

He revealed a sneaky plan that the Toffees could employ including Jack Harrison, who re-joined the club this summer on another loan deal.
However, a more permanent future could be on the horizon for the 27-year-old, as Bailey claimed: ‘Obviously with Harrison Everton have used up one of those loan deals. It wouldn’t surprise me if we see maybe, depending on what Leeds are asking, they might try and make Harrison permanent which frees up a loan spot and that gives them a bit more flexibility.
‘Don’t be surprised if that is the combination being had, because it did seem likely that they might have done it in January. But now with the Onana money, do they maybe do Harrison to free up a potential loan spot?
‘Because if it was [Kalvin] Phillips and [Armando] Broja… they’d be very expensive to do permanently.
‘Keep an eye on that Harrison one, I think that’s an interesting one. We know Everton want him to come permanently. We know he wants to join permanently. It might be an interesting avenue they look at.’
Wilfried Gnonto or Jack Harrison?
Whilst their plan might not be intrinsically linked to trying to snag both Gnonto and Harrison, it does feel like that’s what Sean Dyche is desperately trying to do after failing last summer.
Having already succeeded with one half of the duo early on this summer, it gives him plenty of time to tempt the Italy international to Goodison Park as well now.
Last season, the on-loan Englishman scored three and assisted a further three in the Premier League, and the year before, as Leeds United got relegated, recorded 12 goal contributions as one of few who went down with any dignity.

Meanwhile, Gnonto scored just four and assisted two in that latter term, although it was his first in England, and most recently has scored eight in the Championship from just 19 starts.
If Dyche has to pick one for a permanent deal, then the 20-year-old is the no-brainer, but to tempt them both would mark a masterstroke that would revolutionise a position of peril for Everton in recent years.
