Everton are making some considerable changes to the club over the coming weeks.

Although David Moyes has been able to secure Premier League football for next season, there have still been some issues along the way.

Over recent years, Everton have suffered in the transfer windows with Farhad Moshiri at the helm of the club.

However, times are changing and the Friedkins are ready to invest in Everton’s playing squad as well as opportunities away from the pitch.

Everton are making the move to Bramley-Moore Dock this summer and they are going to need a squad worthy of playing in such a stadium.

It is not just changes to the squad which the new owners are looking to make, though.

The Friedkins are keen to switch up Everton’s recruitment system and a big change has now been put in motion.

Leeds United sanction Angus Kinnear’s Everton move

For some weeks now, it has been known Angus Kinnear would join Everton following some years at Leeds United.

However, like Kevin Thelwell, his move was not immediate and will take place following the end of the season.

On Friday, documents were shared by Companies House showing Kinnear’s Leeds exit had been sealed.

The update read: ‘Termination of appointment of Angus Robert Kinnear as a director on 9 May 2025.’

Following Leeds’ promotion, Kinnear will have been waiting for the time to come around for him to depart the club as he looks to make a fresh start on Merseyside.

Kinnear is already recruiting two Leeds chiefs for Everton as the Friedkins make wholesale changes at board level.

The summer promises to be a big one for the Toffees and it will be interesting to see what work Kinnear has already been tasked with to make a fast start in the market.

What Everton have said about Kinnear joining

Everton have identified four key signings to be made this summer with transfer meetings having already been held.

With players set to leave at the end of their own contracts this summer, some busy months lie ahead of the Blues.

Moyes has spoken to Kinnear already as the pair have discussed the plans for the summer.

Everton are excited to welcome Kinnear to Merseyside ahead of the move to Bramley-Moore.

“Angus is one of England’s leading football executives and brings a wealth of relevant experience. His appointment means Everton will go into the summer with a first-class leader,” said Marc Watts.
