Everton are now refusing any potential new approaches for their centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite this summer.
The Toffees have been proactive when it comes to the summer transfer window having already added two new faces to their squad.
However, last month saw a real focus on the outgoings as Everton needed to balance their books against PSR.
Sean Dyche will now be keen to see his options added to over the coming weeks as they look to improve on what was a turbulent 2023/24 campaign.
However, there is a plan that has been put in place just in case Everton need to generate some further funds.

Everton plan to sell ‘fantastic’ player if needed this summer
The big talk around Goodison Park, in terms of transfers, is what is going to happen with Jarrad Branthwaite.
Everton have seen interest arrive from Manchester United this summer with a bid in the region of £50m rejected.
The Toffees have recently seen The Friedkin Group drop out of the running to take over on Merseyside.
However, Everton’s stance on Branthwaite has remained the same with the Toffees not looking to sell.

According to David Ornstein, Everton have informed United they are not listening to any further approaches for Branthwaite.
Financial concerns have been cooled following last month’s deadline being met and the expected sale of Amadou Onana to Aston Villa for £50m.
But Ornstein has claimed if Everton do need to generate some cash this summer then they would be willing to sell Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Offloading the Everton striker is said to be the ‘plan’ before considering the notion of allowing Branthwaite to leave.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin has already received interest this summer
Calvert-Lewin is already said to have greenlit a possible move to Newcastle United earlier in the transfer window.
The England forward has made his stance clear on the idea of signing a new contract at Everton.
Everton have already been able to bring in a new forward in Iliman Ndiaye who showed his potential to be a success at Goodison in his debut against Sligo Rovers.
Youssef Chermiti also excelled on Friday night with the forward scoring a brace to provide Dyche with something to really think about ahead of their next game against Salford City.
Calvert-Lewin may have been hailed as ‘fantastic‘ but the striker simply has not been able to show that level of performance on a consistent basis for years now.
