There is plenty of uncertainty surrounding Goodison Park, meaning summer transfers are probably the least of Sean Dyche’s worries.

Nevertheless, despite March only just honing into view, players have been linked with moves to and from Everton. According to Belgian news outlet Voetbalkrant, Chelsea have already started discussions over a move for Amadou Onana, with the Toffees wanting more than £50million for the 22-year-old Belgian.

Another player linked with a move away is Jarrad Branthwaite, with the iPaper claiming the former-Carlisle youngster is wanted by Manchester United, with Sir Jim Ratcliffe looking to implement data-driven recruitment processes at Old Trafford.

However, it’s not just outgoings.

And Everton has now been linked with a Europa League-winning wing-back.

Everton linked with Filipe Kostic

Juventus full-back Filipe Kostic has been linked with a move to Goodison Park.

Kostic, 31, has started 19 times for Juventus Massimiliano Allegri’s side, registering four assists.

The Serbian has previously won the Europa League with Eintracht Frankfurt. The Bundesliga side beat West Ham United and Rangers en route to a historic in Seville.

As per Tutto Juve, Kostic isn’t keen on moving to Saudi Arabia, with the full-back eager to wait and say how many players make the move to the Middle East come the summer.

The report also suggests Everton and West Ham United are interested, with Juventus willing to accept an offer in the region of £10million.

Kostic, who has been compared to Gareth Bale in the past, is contracted to the Serie A club until the summer of 2026.

After capturing the Serbian in August 2022, Allegri said: “He’s player who crosses very well, with excellent ball control, he arrived two days ago making back and forth from Frankfurt.

“I still have to decide between him, McKennie and Cuadrado will play two. I’m very happy with him, he’s a footballer, Vlahovic will benefit from it.”

For now, this rumour should be shelved. Everton’s transfer plans are entirely up in the air, with the club waiting to hear the outcome of their appeal against their 10-point Premier League deduction.

Furthermore, there is uncertainty over whether the Premier League will approve 777 Partners’ takeover of the club. The announcement confirming the US firm’s agreement to buy the club occurred five months ago.
