Everton return to the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Wednesday night where they will face the struggling Wolverhampton Wanderers.

David Moyes requires three points on the back of Everton’s shambolic display against Brentford at the weekend.

The Toffees have fallen into the bottom half of the table on the back of the result against the Bees at the weekend.

However, there are some more serious matters needing to be considered ahead of the game against Wolves on Wednesday evening.

There remain hundreds of unsold tickets for Everton vs Wolves, with a number of considerations needing affecting fans.

One of those issues is certainly going to be the weather as fans will be braced for the cold temperatures as the club have released a statement ahead of kick off.

Everton issue weather warning ahead of Wolves clash

The Friedkins have optimised the Hill Dickinson Stadium experience over recent weeks having helped to fund the tifo display ahead of the game against Arsenal last month.

As much as the fans may have enjoyed the new stadium, nothing comes before their safety on a matchday.

Let us know your honest thoughts on this… 🫣

Ahead of the game against Wolves on Wednesday night, Everton have released a warning to the fans regarding the weather.

‘Cold weather reminder Supporters are strongly advised to wrap up warm due to the cold weather forecast,’ read the statement.

‘Hats, scarves, gloves and layers are strongly recommended; it will feel even colder by the waterfront, especially later in the day.’

Some Everton fans have been frustrated by the new stadium’s transport links, but Wednesday night will offer more potential concerns as a cold wait after the game will be expected to get back home.

A cold night lies ahead for those attending the match and there will be a hope that the players provide a performance that can warm up the mood around the club.

Everton must warm fans with bounce back performance

Just one win in their last five Premier League games has halted Everton’s progress towards securing a spot in Europe.

Fortunately, Moyes’ side only sit three points off Chelsea in fifth place, but anything other than three points against Wolves will be a disaster.

If you are David Moyes, who are you starting alongside James Garner vs Wolves? 🤨

Moyes is not convinced Everton will make signings in January, which will far from inspire the fans.

The comments from Tuesday’s press conference mean the game against Wolves has to finish in three points for Everton.

Anything other than that and the fans will really start to become concerned.
