The January transfer window is upon and Everton are expected to do some business.
Following Everton’s 1-0 defeat to Bournemouth, it’s evident they are still in danger of relegation despite a positive few results against the Premier League’s big boys.

That’s now two defeats on the bounce for Sean Dyche’s men and they haven’t won since the fourth of December – when they beat Wolves 4-0.
Goals have been particularly hard to come by as they’ve netted just one in their last six outings, so a striker certainly needs to be on their transfer shortlist.
With that said, Kevin Thelwell needs to act fast on one of their number nine targets who’s now subject to an enquiry from a rival Premier League side.

Everton need to act fast on Evan Ferguson deal as West Ham circle
Everton are the second-lowest scorers in the Premier League, only behind relegation favourites Southampton.
The Toffees have scored just 15 goals in 19 games, amplifying the need for a prolific centre-forward this January.
Evan Ferguson is believed to on Everton’s radar as Brighton are willing to send him on a six-month loan deal.
Ferguson is behind Danny Welbeck and Joao Pedro in the pecking order on the south coast and is eager to leave for regular starting opportunities.
However, Everton now face stiff competition for his signature as West Ham have just made an enquiry, according to The Telegraph.
Sporting director Kevin Thelwell must act quickly and submit a loan proposal ahead of their Premier League rivals.
Ferguson tipped to become one of Europe’s best
Ferguson burst onto the scene a couple of years ago as an 18-year-old and was tipped to achieve big things after his hat-trick against Newcastle United.
In fact, following the game, his former manager Roberto De Zerbi admitted he could become one of Europe’s most prolific strikers.
“He can become big, big, big,” De Zerbi told Sky Sports.
“His qualities are enough to become a great player. He can become one of the best, the top scorer in Europe.”
Since then, Ferguson’s progression has stunted somewhat but clearly there’s still a lot of potential and talent to unlock.
So it’d certainly be a major coup if Everton landed his signature.
