Everton’s struggles going forward came back to bite them on Saturday afternoon when they faced Bournemouth down on the south coast.
Sean Dyche’s side remain two points above the relegation zone following the results, with Wolves and Ipswich Town still to play.
The Friedkin Group are expected to sack Dyche if results worsen and since the draw against Manchester City, they have done just that.
There is a real frustration hanging around the club currently as they are failing to pull away from the relegation zone.
And it seems some of the frustration may have got to the 53-year-old Everton manager who singled out one of his players for criticism after the defeat.

Sean Dyche tears into Jarrad Branthwaite after Bournemouth vs Everton
It was not a game to remember for the Toffees, with Jordan Pickford shouting at his defenders as he did his best to keep the Cherries out.
Fine margins are costing Everton in these close games, but there are some errors which are causing some real frustrations.
And Dyche was left absolutely baffled by Jarrad Branthwaite ducking out of the way of David Brooks’ winning goal for Bournemouth.
“The lad put in a decent cross and then Jarrad ducks out the way of it going in the goal,” he said to the club’s media.
“He’ll only know why he did that, but at the end of the day, we can’t just complain about the referee.”
Branthwaite has been linked with a move to Real Madrid ahead of the summer, but performances like Saturday will not help his case.
The defender has had his injury issues this season and this error may just cost him his spot in the starting XI.
Sean Dyche may have lost the Everton dressing room
Even the Bournemouth fans mocked Everton’s performance on Saturday as they showed exactly why they are in a relegation battle.
The pressure is mounting on Merseyside and Dyche is struggling to get anything more out of his side as they continue to struggle going forward.
Dyche criticised his Everton players after losing to Nottingham Forest last week which was not a good look.
And it is now consecutive weekends where the 53-year-old has publicly taken his frustration out on his players.
