Everton are in the market for reinforcements this January transfer window, as David Moyes looks to return the club to Europe.
David Moyes has always stated that Europe is the aim, and at the mid-way point, Everton are only a few points behind the top seven.
So, with a little bit more quality added to the squad, there is every chance of achieving that goal this season.
Would you even pay £30m for Jack Grealish? 🫣
Alan Myers reckons the Toffees will target three positions, with a striker, midfielder and a full-back on Moyes’ wishlist.
With that said, a fresh report is now linking Everton to a full-back who is one of the best dribblers in Europe.

Everton target Brooke Norton-Cuffy is one of Europe’s best dribblers
It has recently emerged that Everton are considering a move to sign Brooke Norton-Cuffy from Serie A outfit Genoa.
Moyes is keen to sign a more attacking right-back to upgrade on Jake O’Brien, who has regressed a little this season.
O’Brien’s lack of attacking threat has been criticised, so his long-term future is most certainly at centre-back.
Everton are keen on signing Brooke Norton-Cuffy… are there other positions more important than right-back this transfer window?
That said, Norton-Cuffy would be the perfect replacement, as according to FBref data, he ranks in the top nine per cent for successful take-ons per 90 compared to his positional peers across Europe.
That amplifies how good he is at carrying the ball forward from deep and committing defenders one-on-one, which the Toffees have sorely missed down the right flank.
Everton are also looking at other right-backs
Norton-Cuffy isn’t the only right-back Everton are considering this month. In fact, they’ve been linked to several.
The Toffees are eyeing Zakaria El Ouahdi from Genk, but face stiff competition from Premier League rivals Crystal Palace.
Moyes’ recruitment staff are also scouting Wesley, and Sevilla’s Juanlu Sanchez continues to be linked with a move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
What right-back do you want Everton to sign in January? 🤔
Juanlu Sanchez could certainly be an upgrade…
The priority seems to be a centre-forward, so perhaps once that’s addressed, Everton will advance in talks with some of the aforementioned targets.
