Everton have had their fair share of injury issues in recent times, and now it looks as if one of Sean Dyche’s star men has joined the list on international duty.

Jarrad Branthwaite has been one of the stars struggling with injuries and fitness to start the season, which has seen him only feature in one game.

Everton enjoyed having him back at the heart of the defence against Crystal Palace, and it miraculously ended up being the Toffees’ only win of the current campaign in the Premier League.

Armando Broja, Nathan Patterson and Vitalii Mykolenko have all been nursing injuries of their own, with the latter two looking like being back for the Ipswich Town game.

Now, it looks as if another star is set to be added to the list, as Iliman Ndiaye has suffered an injury.

Iliman Ndiaye suffers injury 65 minutes into Senegal display

Iliman Ndiaye has been one of the standout performers for Everton since joining in the summer.

Interestingly, Ndiaye has already been compared to Steven Pienaar because of the way he keeps the ball close to himself and glides past opponents with his dribbling.

During Senegal vs Malawi, in the 65th minute, he was down receiving treatment and ended up being substituted off, with the condition of the injury not currently known.

Iliman Ndiaye’s performance vs Malawi up until the injury

Despite the injury, Ndiaye put in a brilliant performance for his country.

The attacker had 43 touches, a passing accuracy of 90%, made one key pass, provided an assist, had two shots off target, one shot blocked, completed three of his four dribbles, won five duels, lost possession eight times, was fouled once and made one tackle.

Any potential lay-off for Ndiaye would be devastating, as he’s been the heartbeat of Everton in the final third, and Michael Keane has already noticed how much of a top player he is.
