Everton’s start to the 2024/25 campaign has been nothing short of a disaster as they remain slumped at the bottom of the Premier League table.
For Sean Dyche, the Toffees will be presented with a big opportunity to get their first win on the board against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Everton are yet to seal any points in their opening two games at Goodison Park in what is the final season at the stadium.
Last time out, Everton were only able to secure a single point against Leicester City despite taking the lead against the newly-promoted outfit.
And that has been a major issues for the Blues with leads slipping in their previous three games which have offered just a single point by full time.
However, it has not all been doom and gloom with one of their summer signings really impressing defender Michael Keane.

Michael Keane wowed by Everton summer signing
Only two games remain until the next international break which could be crucial for the future of Dyche at Everton.
Keane has already spoken about the potential takeover at Everton and the prospect of moving into the new stadium next season.
However, there has to be a real focus on securing the points right now to ease the concerns on Merseyside.

One player who Dyche will be looking to rely on against the Eagles on Saturday in summer signing Iliman Ndiaye.
“It’s been really good. They’re all really good lads and have settled into the group really well,” Keane told the Everton website on their new signings.
“There’s plenty of talent in there. Ili [Ndiaye] is playing unbelievably at the minute and I think everyone can see what a top player he is.”
Everton will be relying on Iliman Ndiaye vs Crystal Palace
Ndiaye has started three games in the Premier League this season and has been able to provide a return of one goal.
The Frenchman has also been able to score in the Carabao Cup but it was Ndiaye’s magic which secured them a point in the previous game against Leicester.
BBC Sport pundit Ashley Williams was left wowed by Ndiaye during the game against Leicester as he scored a sensational solo effort.
But it is apparent at this stage Everton are unable to rely on just one player and will need more than just Ndiaye to step up if they are to secure three points.
