Everton have shown some considerable progress over the last few months.
David Moyes has worked his magic on the squad he inherited from Sean Dyche and secured Premier League survival ahead of the final games.
There were some major concerns when the 62-year-old took over, with Moyes worried about taking Everton down to the Championship.
However, the Scot can now plan ahead for the summer with Everton looking to make some significant changes.
The Friedkins are ready to back Moyes in the window in what is going to be their first summer of transfers on Merseyside.
And it is apparent the ambition being shown from the top is visible for the players around Finch Farm.
Amid all the contract talk going on, there is one player who is determined to be a part of what Everton are doing under the new owners.

Dwight McNeil shares Everton message fans will love to hear
Dwight McNeil has returned from injury but his minutes are being carefully managed by Moyes.
Unlike Iliman Ndiaye, McNeil is yet to start a game since making his return to the squad last month.
However, it is apparent he has been left really impressed with what he has seen over recent months under the new owners.
“I always try and be the best that I can be to help the team, because, like I say, I want to help the team and improve the team and try and get more wins on the board because that’s the ambition for the Club,” he told the Everton website.
“I want to be part of it.”
McNeil has two years remaining on his deal at Everton but it is clear from these comments he has no wish to leave the club in the foreseeable future.
It is going to be a huge summer for Everton who are moving into their new state-of-the-art stadium over the coming months.
Bramley-Moore Dock is set to transform Everton’s finances which will play a big role in funding these ambitious plans McNeil is speaking of.
Everton have sorely missed Dwight McNeil
Saturday’s defeat against Chelsea was hugely disappointing as the performance did not show the hard work which has gone in under Moyes.
Everton were well off the boil and lacked any real attacking threat.
Jordan Pickford was criticised for his role in Nicolas Jackson’s only goal of the game, but his forwards did not offer much to rectify the goal conceded.
McNeil came on as a second half substitute again and almost got himself on the scoresheet.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin could return for Everton on the weekend against Ipswich Town and it is apparent Moyes should start McNeil if he is fit enough to do so.
