Everton left-back Adam Aznou has been speaking to the club’s media team.
Adam Aznou has finally broken his silence on his situation at Everton, admitting that he’s really happy despite limited game time.
There were reports that Aznou wanted to leave, but the teenager has rubbished those claims and is keen to remain patient.
“I feel really good here,” the 19-year-old explained.
“I really like how the team is with me, and how everyone – the staff, the manager, the fans – is with me. It feels like everyone is behind me and I’m really excited to be part of this journey.”
The Toffees teenager also discussed his upbringing and how street football had a big impact on shaping him as a player.

Adam Aznou grew up playing football in the streets of Barcelona
Speaking to Everton’s website, Aznou explained that playing in the streets of Barcelona really helped him develop his technique.
“As I got a bit older, we would play around where I lived,” the former La Masia starlet said.
“That was tough football, really tough. We’d play against anyone of any age and, for us, it was a really serious thing.
“There wasn’t one set place we would play, it would be anywhere and everywhere we could – the parks, the streets, anywhere.
“Sometimes the neighbours would come out of their houses and move us on and we’d have to find another place but it would never stop us.
“For me, I believe I learned the real football in the street. I love street football, with the dribbling, the skills, the toughness and everything – it gave me a great grounding.”
David Moyes says Adam Aznou still has some way to go
Aznou was really impressive against Sunderland earlier this month, but speaking after the game, David Moyes explained that he still has to develop physically before playing on a more regular basis.
“Well we played him in a different role when we brought him on,” Moyes said.
“We put him higher up more as a left-winger. The competition to play in those roles are very, very high. So, that makes it less likely in some ways, but I was very pleased for Adam as he’s a good boy.
“He’s got bits about him which are ready, just physically to be a left-back in the Premier League is where we’re seeing him need to develop.”
Aznou has been working hard in the gym at Finch Farm, so he’s clearly putting in the hard yards behind the scenes to become a success on Merseyside.
