The 25-year-old has missed just three matches this term and has completed the full 90 minutes 79% of his appearances according to the official Nottingham Forest website, which indicates his remarkable durability.
On Sunday, he was presented with the Player of the Season award at Forest, as voted for by their supporters.

Right-back is a major problem for Everton and it needs to be the first position the club address this summer.
Forest are not looking to sell Williams so it’s going to take a lot of money to prise him away.
But he has developed into a top right-back, and is someone who hardly ever misses games, and there’s a lot to be said for that.

What absolutely must not happen is that Jake O’Brien is kept at right-back.
He’s had some decent games there but it is so painfully obvious that he is better in the middle – in his natural position – and his partnership with Jarrad Branthwaite needs the chance to blossom.
But Forest are said to be looking to hand Williams a contract extension as a reward for his performances. If this happens, Everton can obviously forget all about a deal.
