Everton’s best XI looks like it could challenge for Europe after Tyler Dibling signing

Everton have made eight signings so far this summer transfer window, and they’re still looking to do more business before the end of the window.

Everton have shelled out around £114.9m on transfer fees, with teenage winger Tyler Dibling the latest and most expensive acquisition.

Everton
Carlos Alcaraz (£12.9m)
Thierno Barry (£25.8m)
Mark Travers (£3.9m)
Adam Aznou (£7.7m)
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (24.6m)
Jack Grealish (Loan)
Tom King (?)
Tyler Dibling (£40m)
Total: £114.9m

Dibling is widely regarded as one of the best young footballers in the country, so it’s a real coup for the Toffees.

Jack Grealish is the other notable addition to David Moyes’ squad, and he’s already made a big impression on Evertonians after a brace of assists against Brighton and Hove Albion on the weekend.

With all that said, here is Everton’s strongest starting line-up after the eight recruits.

Everton’s strongest starting line-up

Everton’s strongest line-up includes five of the new signings, although, they will need to get up to speed first and foremost.

That’s certainly the case for Adam Aznou, with Moyes explaining that he will need time to adapt to his new surroundings.

But quite clearly, Aznou’s technical ability is far superior to Vitality Mykolenko’s, so it might not be too long until he’s in the starting line-up.

The rest pick themselves at the moment, with Dibling set to come straight into the line-up as the only natural right-winger at the club apart from Dwight McNeil, who isn’t really fancied by Moyes.

Everton need a right-back to complete the team

Perhaps the only glaring weakness in the side is at right-back, with Jake O’Brien still forced to play out of position.

Moyes is exploring a deal to sign Hector Fort from Spanish giants Barcelona, who is actually close friends with Aznou.

Fort and Aznou grew up together in the prestigious La Masia academy, so that’s a transfer that makes a lot of sense.

James Justin was of interest to Everton earlier in the window, but he has just completed a £10m move to Leeds United.
