Everton are up against the clock to bring in any further additions before the window shuts on Monday.
This week has gotten off to a promising with Everton securing the signing of Tyler Dibling in a deal worth around £35m.
David Moyes will still be keen to add a couple of extra players to his squad to really bolster his options.
It is believed that Everton are looking to add a midfielder and defender before the window shuts.
Injuries have already hit on Merseyside, with Jarrad Branthwaite out through a hamstring injury, which will see him miss a number of weeks.
There is also the suggestion that Everton could offload Nathan Patterson, with an agreement believed to be in place with Sevilla.
With this in mind, a new defender should be on the radar for Angus Kinnear.

Everton informed of Barcelona’s demands for Hector Fort
With a new right-back needed on Merseyside, it has been reported that Everton hold an interest in Hector Fort of Barcelona.
The report suggests West Ham United are also on the scene, in a trend which has followed Everton in the market all summer.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are open to the departure of Fort before the deadline on Monday.
A loan exit is preferred, with Barcelona having until 2029 on his current deal at the Camp Nou.
An exit for Fort is viewed as a priority at Barcelona. The Catalan side need to move players like Fort on so they can register summer signing Roony Bardghji.
Everton fans are excited by the interest in Fort, with Jake O’Brien finding himself playing out of position once again this season.
Having added youngster Adam Aznou at left-back, signing Fort from Barcelona would mark another coup for the Blues.

Everton eyeing a replacement for Nathan Patterson
A potential exit for Patterson has come to light in recent days, with the Scotland international failing to impress.
Moyes admitted Patterson needed to prove himself at Everton, but it seems he will not be awarded that opportunity this season.
However, the original report does note that an agreement will not be sanctioned until the Blues are able to find a replacement.
Outside of Patterson, Seamus Coleman is the only natural right-back option on Merseyside.
Everton have made some exciting signings this summer, but it is apparent that there is still work needing to be done.
