Everton have announced their new away kit for the 2025/26 season, and is being looked upon with glee.
After Everton’s new home kit had issues, it’s difficult for the fanbase to pinpoint anything wrong with the new away strip.
In fact, fans believe it’s the ‘best shirt in years’ as the cream colour is reminiscent of the 2010/11 season’s number.
The away strip will debut vs Blackburn as David Moyes’ side prepare for their second pre-season outing at Ewood Park.
But there is something special about this kit, as it has a brilliant meaning for Everton fans behind the good look.

Everton’s new away kit has secret meaning behind it
With a new era beginning on the blue side of Merseyside, Moyes will need two kits that match the ambition.
It’s looking like the whole consensus on the shirts are good ones, which will help the Toffees financially.
But there appears to be deeper meanings this year behind the inspiration of both kits, and it has a lot to do with Everton’s new home on the Bramley-Moore Dock.
The home kit is inspired by the River Mersey, whereas it’s been revealed that the sleeve pattern on the away strip represents ‘the railway line that served the Liverpool docklands during a time when they were at the centre of maritime connectivity during the mid-to-late 1800s.’

Everton won’t wear away kit in the Premier League for a long time
With the railway line getting a deserved shoutout, it gives the kit that little extra boost in terms of meaning, as Everton fans already think it’s ‘stunning’.
Blackburn will be the first to face the cream-coloured strip, which is clearly a fan favourite, and it’s clear to see why.
But despite its first showing taking place on Saturday, in terms of the shirt’s Premier League debut, it will be a long old while.
The likelihood is that Everton won’t need to wear this away kit until the 13th December, when they visit Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Every other game before this gives reason why Everton should be in their home kit, and despite the solid reviews, it will remain unsurfaced for a while in the top flight.
