Everton have been drawing up a shortlist of targets ahead of the summer transfer window.

David Moyes is clearly in the market for a wide player, as Everton have been linked with several in recent weeks.

West Ham United’s Crysencio Summerville is believed to be on Moyes’ radar, and so too is Millwall’s Femi Azeez.

Everton target Sorba Thomas was the Championship’s best playmaker

Everton have been exploring a deal to sign Sorba Thomas after his sensational season for Stoke City.

Toffees scouts have been sent to watch Thomas over the last month or so, with the Wales international registering a whopping 23 goal involvements in the second tier.

The 27-year-old actually ended the season as the player with the most chances created across the entire division.

Big chances created in the Championship

Thomas is highly-regarded for his crossing ability, so evidently Moyes plans to utilise width next season and get balls into a physically imposing centre-forward.

Whether that be Beto or Thierno Barry remains to be seen, although Everton have been linked with Atletico Madrid’s towering frontman Alexander Sorloth.

Romelu Lukaku has been tentatively linked with a return to the Toffees, as he is expected to leave Napoli in the summer.

Lukaku would certainly work in a system centred around quality crosses, as he’s scored the sixth most headed goals in Premier League history (25).
