Everton are closing in on the signing of Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
This will be music to the ears of David Moyes who has been left frustrated by the lack of arrivals at Finch Farm this summer.
Angus Kinnear was appointed earlier in the summer by Everton as the new CEO, and he knew he had a huge task on his hands.
Speaking upon his arrival, Kinnear admitted Everton had an ‘unprecedented’ summer ahead of them.
Finally, some further movement is being made in the market to address Everton’s squad depth following numerous departures.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has undergone his Everton medical, with fans hoping to see the ball kept rolling in the market.
The midfield has been a real area for improvement, and Everton have also shown interest in Douglas Luiz from Juventus.

Everton’s stance on beating Nottingham Forest to Douglas Luiz
It is believed that Everton expect Dewsbury-Hall to instantly improve their starting XI ahead of the new season starting.
But could there be more room for improvement with the potential addition of Luiz?
According to Rudy Galetti, it is Nottingham Forest who are now leading the race to sign the Brazilian midfielder this summer.
Forest held positive talks with Juventus on Tuesday and are now preparing a bid to sign Luiz.
Meanwhile, Everton have not advanced their interest in the midfielder over recent days.
Moyes was keen for Everton to sign Luiz, but it seems as if the focus has shifted on Merseyside, with Dewsbury-Hall’s deal progressing very quickly this week.
What is worth noting is that Luiz is desperate to return to the Premier League. So, if Forest fail to strike a deal then perhaps this is something that could be revisited.
Everton need midfield improvement
Interestingly, over the weekend, Moyes admitted that he had not been overly impressed by James Garner this summer.
“I’ve actually been pretty disappointed in Jimmy in the early games in pre-season, but not tonight [Sunday],” said the Everton boss.
Some Everton fans have shared their concerns over Garner last season, with the midfielder failing to really nail down any consistency.
Although Dewsbury-Hall is being added to the squad, perhaps there is even more scope for improvement in the midfield.
Everton are focused on adding attacking players now, but some may still feel more is needed in the midfield before the window shuts in September.
