“Some man, one of a kind! Don’t make them like you no more! Thank you for everything, Skip,” said James Garner.

Everton News will update as more responses roll in.

The defender has barely played for Everton this season, with the injury picked up away to Manchester United potentially the moment he called a day on his career on Merseyside.

Coleman has remained a real Everton leader behind the scenes, which was seen through his recent interaction with youngster Braiden Graham at Finch Farm.

There is a future on offer at Everton for Coleman, if he wishes, and there is no doubt as to whether the players would like to see him stick around.
