How much could Everton get for Mark Travers?

Despite still only being 27 years of age, the reality is Travers’ asking price is going to be relatively low given his lack of Premier League minutes.

Across his career, the goalkeeper has only featured 24 times in the English top flight.

Travers waxed lyrical about Jordan Pickford, who he failed to uproot from Moyes’ starting XI.

It is understood that Everton paid in the region of £4m for Travers last year, when they secured his signature from Bournemouth.

Many would expect that, given his age, Everton would be able to recoup a similar fee for the goalkeeper this summer.

Does Mark Travers’ Everton contract include a release clause?

There is an understanding that Travers’ contract on Merseyside does include a release clause.

How much exactly it would take to trigger his exit is not known to the public, but there will be an expectation for it to be in the region of what Everton paid last year.

Travers inked a four-year deal when he signed for Everton and, therefore, has three years remaining on his current deal.

Seeing the Republic of Ireland international depart this summer would leave Moyes needing to add another backup to Pickford.
