It’s been fairly quiet on the transfer front for Everton but a familiar name is on his way back to England as David Moyes will know of his talent.
Moyes has already made his mark on his Everton return after Sunday’s performance against Tottenham.
Jake O’Brien says Moyes wants possession at Everton which paid off against Spurs in their 3-2 win.
Improvements are still needed around the club and the Everton boss will have to get used to changes as Moyes was shocked at Everton’s staff numbers.
Moyes also might be shocked to see a familiar face returning to England.

Former Everton player Jonjoe Kenny set for England return with Sheffield United
When you say the name Jonjoe Kenny there might be mixed opinions, as the defender departed Goodison Park in 2022.
Kenny, now 27, couldn’t quite find consistency whilst at the Merseyside club as the right-back was an academy graduate, making his full debut for Everton in the 2015/16 season.
The defender did notch up 69 appearances with the first-team but it never quite seemed to stick with his boyhood club and after four loan spells, Kenny was sold to Hertha Berlin on a free.
According to Alan Myers, Kenny has a verbal agreement to join Championship side Sheffield United on a 4-and-a-half-year deal after impressing in the Bundesliga with Berlin for three seasons.

David Moyes tried to sign Kenny from Everton when at West Ham
Kenny struggled at Everton in 2020 and it surely meant an exit was near for the out of favour defender.
This obviously did come to fruition in 2022, but Moyes will recall his scenario with Kenny whilst managing West Ham.
Moyes was interested in signing Kenny for the Irons in the summer of 2020 (The Telegraph).
The then West Ham boss wanted to bring in a right-back in that window, and a raid on former club Everton was his plan.
Moyes had picked out Kenny as a target, having seen the defender come up through the Everton ranks during his time as Toffees boss, who made his debut a few seasons after the Scotsman left Goodison Park.
Now, Kenny is almost back in England, and if the Blades can cement promotion to the Premier League, he could come back to haunt Moyes.
