The Friedkin Group haven’t even officially taken charge at Everton just yet, but that hasn’t stopped the rumours floating around.

Sean Dyche‘s future was a big topic earlier on in the season after a disappointing opening four games to the Premier League season, but things have been flipped on their head since.

Everton have gone on a five-game unbeaten streak in the Premier League that has silenced a lot of the critics, and the managerial links have gone quiet.

One of the only issues that Dyche is currently having is with a couple of his players.

Beto has been told to work harder at Everton, which led to an emotional response after scoring his goal against Fulham at the weekend.

Meanwhile, Jake O’Brien is another who just doesn’t seem to be fancied by Dyche, despite him being called for by fans and impressing James Tarkowski.

However, it looks as if the Friedkin Group are eyeing a managerial change, but not at Everton.

Friedkin Group consider hiring Maurizio Sarri as potential new AS Roma boss

Maurizio Sarri is a big name in the managerial world, and he’s already had his links to Everton.

Interestingly, it was claimed that the Friedkin Group wanted Maurizio Sarri to replace Sean Dyche at Everton, though this has since gone quiet.

Now, it appears as if the AS Roma owners are considering him for a job in Italy, as Ivan Juric continues to come under fire after a 5-1 loss at the weekend.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (as per AS Roma Press), Roma are considering hiring Maurizio Sarri.

It’s stated that Ivan Juric’s time at Roma has come to an end and it’s only a matter of hours before the Giallorossi sack him.

Sarri has now been placed among a list of candidates that Roma are now reviewing.

The managers already linked with the Everton job

Interestingly, Jose Mourinho is a name that has already been tied to the Everton job, given his time at AS Roma under the Friedkin Group.

However, it’s unlikely he’d ever want to take the Everton job, as it ended on a sour note for Mourinho in Italy.

Interestingly, Graham Potter and David Moyes are two names who were also linked with the Everton job when the Toffees were under pressure at the start of the season.

The latest consensus around Everton is that Dyche will be given time and the Friedkin Group will assess their options when in power, which could be an easy decision given the fine run of form.
