Everton were held 1-1 by Wolves – and one player shone bright for David Moyes’ side.
The Toffees had been looking to respond against the Premier League’s bottom club, after defeat to Brentford at the weekend.
But after taking the lead against the Old Gold, Everton let the game slip and could have ended up losing after two players were sent off.
Sum that up for us… 😡
Cannot believe how that second half panned out!
Michael Keane was controversially dismissed after he was adjudged to have pulled Tolu Arokodare’s hair.
Jack Grealish was also then given his marching orders towards the end for sarcastically clapping referee Thomas Kirk.
It was a poor result for Everton, but there were a couple of positives to take.
Harrison Armstrong looked really at home on his first start for Everton, and is rightly coming on for a lot of praise.
But there was also another player who enjoyed a strong outing at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Tim Iroegbunam shone for Everton vs Wolves

Iroegbunam was starting for Everton for the fifth successive Premier League match for Everton – and the midfielder really caught the eye last night for the Toffees.
Iroegbunam was a real driving force through the contest.
He was combative and also willing to carry the ball forward and without a doubt, he, Armstrong and James Garner won the midfield battle in the first-half.
There was a real drop-off from Everton in the second-half, but Iroegbunam still worked his socks off and was difficult for the Wolves players to contain.
Sofascore data shows that he contested a whopping 18 duels in the game, with no player contesting more in the game.
Everton fans, what did you make of Tim Iroegbunam’s display against Wolves?
Statistics showed it was certainly a busy performance! 💨
He also supplied three ‘key’ passes. Again, no player in the game supplied more. And he also created one big chance.
So Armstrong is receiving most of the praise, which is probably right due to the fact it was his first Premier League start. But Iroegbunam certainly deserves his flowers.
Iroegbunam’s dynamism is needed for Everton
It was great to see Iroegbunam being positive with the ball and driving forward with it when he could.
The Englishman strode forward last night a number of times. There were occasions when he did not release the ball when he should have, but overall his running served Everton quite well.

And of course, he had a hand in the goal, although Keane did most of the hard work.
Iroegbunam faded towards the end and might have been replaced.
But certainly in that first-half he was dominating, and Everton need that kind of level from him as often as possible moving forward.
