Today is a huge day in Everton’s history, with Dan Friedkin now set to complete his takeover of the club at last.
It has been a long time coming, and as is always the case with this club, nothing ever comes easily.
So, for the American to have already been in a similar position before pulling out and then returning months later, surely this time his position must be cemented.
However, there is still some time to go before everything is signed off and the club is exchanged.
Fortunately, one report has offered us that time frame.
How long will it take for Dan Friedkin’s Everton takeover to be completed?
Many are questioning who The Friedkin Group are and what they will offer to Everton, but their track record with AS Roma certainly paints a positive picture for the fanbase.
And, it’s a testament to their suitability as owners that the process with the Premier League should not take all that long.

They have more than enough money to prove their worth, and have their work already accomplished in Italy as further proof to fast-track the process.
Now, iNews have emerged to issue an update on an exact time frame, written just before the news emerged that Dan Friedkin had agreed a deal for his Everton takeover.
The report simply reads: ‘If a deal is agreed the Friedkins would have to pass the Premier League’s owners’ and directors’ tests. Although that would not be an issue, it could take up to eight weeks before a sign-off is agreed.’
What will Dan Friedkin offer Everton?
Immediately, what Dan Friedkin will offer Everton is a stable presence atop their football club that allows long-term strategies to be put in place.
This stands out above all else as the big thing he will instantly provide.
And that is just by being committed in a way that Farhad Moshiri has not been for some time now.
It helps that he is hugely rich, with his billion-dollar fortune set to help their progress too.
But, having an owner who is invested in the growth of the club can also allow bigger decisions to be made too, once again a byproduct of this stable leadership.

Sean Dyche is on thin ice at Everton at the moment, but it’s widely accepted that he is unlikely to lose his job whilst Moshiri remains the owner of the club.
Friedkin has already proven he will not be so kind.
There will surely be mass changes around Goodison Park when this new owner gets in, and hopefully all are for the better.
