Everton clearly haven’t let any of the outside news get to their head as they’re now unbeaten in their last two games heading into the international break.
Asmir Begovic joined on a one-year deal in the summer transfer window, but he’s not been in the plans so far as a back-up goalkeeper to Jordan Pickford.
However, in a recent interview given to Diretta, Asmir Begovic has been talking about how the players have all reacted to the takeover news.
“There hasn’t been much talk about it among the players. We focus on our daily responsibilities and control what we can. We hope that the changes will be positive for the club.”
A new stadium is also on the agenda for Everton
The takeover isn’t the only thing to look forward to for the Everton squad as most of them will get the chance to play at the new stadium.
Interestingly, the stadium at the Bramley-Moore Dock is starting to take shape, with a recent video from the gantry causing a bit of a reaction from many Everton fans.
