Dwight McNeil has been the one delivering on the pitch amid all this Everton takeover talk, and it now looks as if he’s excited for something else to come on Merseyside.
It’s exciting times for Everton fans with the new stadium and the takeover situation ongoing.
The Everton takeover is heading in the right direction, and The Friedkin Group have even agreed to provide to funds to ensure the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium gets completed.
Interestingly, the first stage of the takeover has been completed but there are still a number of tests and bits to be sorted before fans can celebrate.
However, this isn’t what’s exciting Dwight McNeil at this moment in time as he’s more bothered about something else going on.

Dwight McNeil can’t wait to play at Everton’s new stadium
Dwight McNeil has been a revelation this season, with Gabriel Agbonlahor even stating that he could play for Real Madrid or Barcelona if he had more pace.
That’s not all, as McNeil currently leads the way for chances created in the Premier League this season.
His new number 10 position is likely to stick after the huge success in the Toffees’ last outing, so hopefully the performances stay at the same level.
However, he’s been talking about things off the field recently.
In an interview with Everton, Dwight McNeil revealed that he’s more excited for the new stadium than he is about the takeover.
“The takeover talk has been there for a while but the big one for me is the new stadium next season, which is going to be amazing.
“I know the fans will be sad to leave Goodison because of all of the history it’s got, but it’s a new chapter for the Club and for everyone involved in it. It’s going to be an amazing stadium and hopefully we can write more history and create new amazing memories there.”
A positive sign for Everton fans?
Dwight McNeil’s performances and current trajectory could see a number of sides register an interest in his services in the January transfer window.
However, the fact that he’s so excited to play at Everton’s new stadium could go a long way to keeping him at the club in January, with the opportunity to fulfill his dream.
It was claimed that Everton would receive interest in McNeil in the summer just gone, but nothing really materialised and they managed to hold onto him.
