Everton are being strongly linked with a potential summer reunion with their former striker Richarlison.

David Moyes will be delighted following Saturday’s victory over Nottingham Forest on the weekend.

However, there are some issues which are beginning to appear in Everton’s game which are going to need to be ironed out over the summer.

Abdoulaye Doucoure scored a stoppage-time winner at the City Ground, but Moyes is struggling to get a tune out of his forwards again.

Armando Broja was handed a rare start by Moyes, with the 61-year-old looking to offer opportunities to some of the players who have been outcasted.

With firepower needed this summer, Richarlison is a player who could become available for the Toffees to add to their squad once again.

The Friedkins lining up Everton bid for Tottenham’s Richarlison

Everton are keen to re-sign Richarlison from Tottenham this summer, with the Brazilian’s future looking bleak in north London.

An interesting few months await the forward who will be heading into the 2025/26 season needing regular minutes ahead of the World Cup year.

According to GiveMeSport, Everton are now lining up their opening bid to Spurs for Richarlison.

It is believed the Toffees are looking to land a cut-price deal for the 27-year-old by putting forward a £30m bid.

After selling him for £60m just a few years ago, people behind the scenes are growing optimistic they can land the Brazilian again.

It has been suggested Tottenham value Richarlison at £40m this summer as they have accepted they are going to have to accept a loss on the player.

The good news for Everton fans is that the Friedkins are open to the notion of bringing Richarlison back to Merseyside.

Richarlison returned from injury with a goal for Tottenham

After returning from injury over the last few days, Richarlison was able to get his name on the scoresheet on the weekend against Wolves.

Richarlison is keen to remain in the Premier League if he is going to leave Spurs over the coming months.

A potential return to Everton could help revive his career after three frustrating years in north London, which were hindered by injuries.

Despite barely playing any football this season, the 27-year-old has been able to provide an impressive return from the bench.
