Richarlison was a real fan favourite during his four-year spell at Everton.

The Brazilian attacker scored 53 goals in 152 games for Everton, which included some crucial strikes in the 2021/22 season to keep the club up.

That summer, Richarlison earned a mega £60m move to Tottenham Hotspur, but it’s just not worked out for him.

Injuries haven’t helped, although, even when the 27-year-old has featured, his heart doesn’t look in it, with Spurs fans not taking to him like the Goodison Park faithful.

Over the last few weeks, Richarlison has been heavily linked with a return to Everton, as the Friedkin Group have the cash to make a transfer feasible.

With that said, his social media activity since Everton’s 1-0 win against Nottingham Forest has fueled more talk of an emotional homecoming.

Richarlison likes Abdoulaye Doucoure’s Instagram post

Richarlison’s Tottenham Hotspur future is hanging in the balance and it seems a summer exit is becoming inevitable.

For months, Richarlison has been testing Everton fans with his social media and now he’s dropped yet another subtle hint after the Forest victory on Saturday afternoon.

Eagle-eyed Everton fans noticed the Brazil international liking Abdoulaye Doucoure’s Instagram post following his stoppage-time winner.

Quite clearly, Richarlison has kept close tabs on Everton’s results since leaving in 2022, amplifying just how much he enjoyed his time at Goodison.

Everton and David Moyes are keen on re-signing Richarlison

Everton haven’t had the finances to pull off any sizable deals in recent years due to their PSR issues, which started to take a grip of the club in 2021.

But, at the end of June, the Toffees’ financial restrictions are expected to be lifted, and the Friedkin’s are ready to hand Moyes a healthy summer budget.

It’s understood Everton would be interested in bringing back Richarlison, as Moyes really likes him as a player.

Evidently, it won’t be a cheap deal to do with Daniel Levy likely to demand a big portion of the £60m he outlaid on his signature.

Considering Richarlison’s age and form over the last few seasons, perhaps a fee of around £30m would be fair.
