Everton’s third signing of the summer is now completed with the addition of Danish winger Jesper Lindstrom.
The 24-year-old forward has made the move from Napoli on a season-long loan with the option to buy.
Lindstrom arrives on Merseyside with Sean Dyche having already made another attacking signing this summer with Iliman Ndiaye.
Bringing in a new player will be a welcome distraction for those at Everton following the recent collapse of The Friedkin Group’s proposed takeover.
Everton are believed to be in a solid financial situation for the short-term future, but there may now be concerns about going overboard in the market.
However, with Lindstrom now signed, the Dane is arriving at Goodison Park with a unique trait which has those at the club excited.

What Sean Dyche has seen in Jesper Lindstrom that excites those at Everton
There is no getting away from it, Lindstrom did not have a good 2023/24 campaign with Napoli after failing to provide a single goal contribution.
The 24-year-old simply has to put that behind him if he is to make the most of his season in the Premier League.
Given his poor 2023/24 season, the signing of Lindstrom will go down as a fairly low risk addition with expectations not necessarily weighing down on his shoulders.
But those at Everton have seen something in the forward which they feel could really benefit them this season.
According to The Athletic, those at Everton feel Lindstrom is capable of playing in any of the positions behind the striker.
This has been described as an ‘important trait’ in what is a relatively small Everton squad going into the new term.
Options may be limited for Dyche, but the Everton boss now has a speedy forward who would be capable of covering a number of positions.
Sean Dyche and Jesper Lindstrom enjoyed private conversation before Everton move
It seems the signing of Lindstrom is one which Dyche fully backed given he had a good conversation with the Dane before he signed.
Lindstrom admitted he enjoyed his chat with Dyche before signing for Everton with the 53-year-old sharing his plans for the forward.
Given Everton’s squad has been described as ‘threadbare’, the signing of a versatile player like Lindstrom could come in handy this season.
And this may not just be the case from the starting XI as Lindstrom could provide Dyche with the perfect replacement in attack if Everton do suffer from injury issues.
The numbers may not provide much excitement but Lindstrom could turn out to be a really shrewd piece of business from Everton.
