Everton are exploring a number of striking options in the transfer market.

David Moyes has been eyeing Alexander Sorloth from Atletico Madrid, and AZ Alkmaar’s Troy Parrott has also been linked.

Chelsea’s out-of-form Liam Delap is believed to be on Everton’s radar too, although that wouldn’t be a popular signing among supporters.

Everton signing Gabriel Jesus would be most exciting transfer since James Rodriguez

Everton are considering a move to sign Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus, with Mikel Arteta open to letting the 29-year-old leave this summer.

Jesus is valued at around £30m by the Gunners, so it would be a feasible deal to do for the Friedkin Group.

If Everton do pull it off and beat the likes of Newcastle United to his signature, it’d probably be the most exciting signing since James Rodriguez in 2020.

Jesus is a five-time Premier League champion, and his statistics across his spells at Manchester City and Arsenal are pretty staggering.

The Brazilian international averages a goal involvement in the Premier League every 1.9 games, evincing his effectiveness.

Jesus isn’t just a goalscorer; he’s also an elite-level playmaker who makes others around him better players.

Imagine a front three of Jack Grealish, Jesus and Iliman Ndiaye; that’d be a lot of fun to watch at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
