Everton’s interest in striker Alexander Sorloth may have been put on hold.

A new striker is on Everton’s radar for the summer transfer window after turbulent campaigns for both Beto and Thierno Barry.

David Moyes is lacking a dependable goalscorer capable of scoring more than 15 goals per season.

Rank these striker options from best to worst… 😬

Everton have checked in on Alexander Sorloth

Juventus are making their move for Sorloth, which will surely catch the attention of the Toffees

Speaking on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, Matteo Moretto provided an overview of the ongoing pursuit of the Norway international.

“Juventus continues to be interested in Alexander Sorloth, so he’s a player who isn’t unsellable for Atletico Madrid. Atletico will listen to offers for Sorloth,” he said.

If you were Angus Kinnear who would you be going all out for this summer? 💰

“Several clubs have already inquired about Sorloth, from England; Everton, Barcelona, had made some inquiries without ever pursuing him further, but Juventus has once again come knocking on Sorloth’s agents’ doors in recent days. I can confirm this news.”

Taking to TalkingPoints, a number of Everton fans have made it clear they don’t want Sorloth signed this summer.

The 30-year-old is not the only striker who Everton have on their radar, though.

Everton have shown an interest in Karl Etta Eyong among other names.

One thing that is clear is that Everton need to nail their striker signing if they are to make one over the coming months.

Everton supporters have seen too many strikers signed and fail to really provide the impact they were brought in to make.

Moyes has pushed the narrative of European qualification, but that is not going to be possible without a striker capable of scoring double figures in the Premier League.
