Everton fans have taken a liking to Iliman Ndiaye, and it appears as if the Senegal international has noticed a thing or two about the support.

Iliman Ndiaye only joined in the summer but he’s already had a huge impact on things at Everton.

The fact that Everton managed to secure his services for just £16.9 million is brilliant, just the only thing fans aren’t enjoying is the fact that he’s being played out of position.

He’s used to operating in attacking midfield role or just behind the striker, and Michael Ball thinks he’s already spotted Ndiaye’s frustration this season.

Interestingly, the attacker has already spotted something involving the Everton fans from the stands as he spoke out on what he saw during pre-season.

Iliman Ndiaye shares what he noticed about the Everton fans

Ndiaye has contributed with three goals in his 13 appearances in all competitions, which includes the exquisite finish against Ipswich Town in what was one of his best performances of the season.

It’s been a struggle getting into the game in recent fixtures in the Premier League, as Everton have typically sat back and tried to play on the counter-attack.

However, Ndiaye is pretty happy with what Dyche is asking of him, which won’t please many Everton fans who are desperate to see him in a more central role.

Regardless, when speaking in an interview with Everton recently, the Senegal international spoke about how important the fans have been so far this season.

“I have only been here for a short time but you can see already how Evertonians get behind their players, even in pre-season. I am learning more things about Everton every day and that’s something I’ve been keen to do, of course. But, above all, I just can’t wait to get out there and play and contribute.”

Michael Keane agrees on Everton fans

Michael Keane and Iliman Ndiaye were in agreement about fans, with the former stating that they give the team confidence to push on in games.

Keane claimed: “It’s nice and it gives you confidence. They travel down in numbers like that to Ipswich which is very far away and not easy to get to. It’s a great feeling to be a part of this club and when they chant your name, it’s special.

“Tarky and Jarrad (Branthwaite) did really well last year. Obviously, Jarrad’s been unfortunate this season with an injury or two and it’s given me a chance to step up. I just came back in to pre-season probably the fittest I’ve ever been and gave myself a real chance to perform if called upon.”

Ndiaye has already been pictured signing the new chant fans made up for him.
