Everton were able to avoid another defeat on the weekend but three points escaped their grasp with a point sealed away to West Ham.
For the final time this year, Everton are now enjoying the international break ahead of what is going to be a really difficult end to the calendar year.
More promising times could be on the horizon with The Friedkin Group expected to takeover Everton in December so they’re inside the club before the January window.

But with a seriously tricky run of games coming up over the next month or so, it is the likes of West Ham who the Toffees could really do with sealing all three points against.
And there could be more to it than just dropped points for Everton with one player said to be left looking rather frustrated.

Why Iliman Ndiaye is frustrated at Everton under Sean Dyche
Despite their struggles against PSR earlier in the summer, Everton were actually able to do a considerable amount of business over the summer.
The standout signing has been Iliman Ndiaye with the Senegal international having made a positive impact to date.
Ndiaye has really impressed the Everton fans so far but it seems as if he may be wasted in the role which Dyche is currently playing him.
“You can see Ndiaye getting a bit frustrated when he’s out wide, blocked off, and wants to creep inside and get involved in the play,” Michael Ball told the Liverpool Echo.
“His work ethic is fantastic, and I saw his heat map at West Ham and he was basically playing like a left wing-back.
“While that’s great and commendable for him, I don’t want him doing that. If I was Vitalii Mykolenko at left-back, I’d be telling him to go away and trust me to defend.
“When he receives the ball, I don’t want him to have to run 30-40 yards with the ball before he’s even getting into their half. He did that a couple of times at West Ham.”
Everton need new manager to unleash Iliman Ndiaye
If there is one thing which Everton fans will have realised about Dyche by now is just how stubborn he can be.
Dyche angered Everton fans by not starting Jarrad Branthwaite in the recent game against Southampton which the Blues went on to lose.
So it is unlikely that he is going to cave in to pressure to change his tactics and play Ndiaye in a different role.
Ndiaye could be one of the winners if Everton appointed David Moyes as Dyche’s potential replacement with no goal involvements in his last three games.
As The Friedkin Group look to secure the keys to Goodison Park, Dyche’s position at Everton will likely come under significant scrutiny again.
