Everton are up and running in the Premier League, and it looks like Jack Grealish contributed off the pitch as well as on it.
It was a first start to remember for Grealish, who put on the perfect opening show for the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Two assists showed the exact reason why David Moyes brought the winger in on loan, as it was a flawless first start in the lineup.
Pat Nevin noticed Everton were more attacking, and the playstyle seems to be changing with the new-look forward line.
Both the 29-year-old and Iliman Ndiaye were on fire, and Grealish might be the one to thank for what was a serious success for Everton.

Jack Grealish says he and Iliman Ndiaye hadn’t played with each other in training before Everton vs Brighton
The performance from the Toffees was so different from their opening game against Leeds United.
After zero xG was generated from the first half at Elland Road, a massive 0.95 followed against Brighton, as Ndiaye and Grealish complemented eachother beautifully.
It certainly looks like an exciting era with the pair, as Thierno Barry also impressed for Everton, making the threat in the final third look promising.
But after the game, in an interview with Sky Sports, Grealish revealed something that might shock some Evertonians.
“The manager hasn’t played us (together) once in training,” Grealish said.
“I said to Ili (Ndiaye) yesterday, ‘any chance of the manager playing us together?’”
“So this is our first time, and yeah hopefully many more goals and assists for both of us.
“So it was all your choice then?” the reporter said, Grealish responded: “I hope so yeah.”
The winger looks to have persuaded Moyes to make this decision, and now the Scotsman doesn’t have to worry about a key decision in the future.

David Moyes has nailed down positions with Jack Grealish and Iliman Ndiaye
With the seven new additions already this summer, Moyes could have a headache about where to play people.
Tyler Dibling’s imminent £42 million move will also cause a stir with his decisions, but it’s clear that Ndiaye and Grealish will be hard to replace after that game.
| Statistics | Jack Grealish vs Brighton | Iliman Ndiaye vs Brighton |
| Minutes played | 89 | 64 |
| Chances created | 3 | 0 |
| Goal involvements | 2 | 1 |
| Passing accuracy % | 83% | 91% |
| Touches | 57 | 30 |
Dibling could occupy the number ten role in this intriguing attack, but the connection the two wingers had in the game was immense.
This will surely leave Moyes thinking of keeping this masterstroke, as Grealish looked to foresee the success.
