Jack Grealish has now made a return to Manchester City following Everton’s final game of the season on Sunday.

David Moyes’ side were unable to end the 2025/26 campaign on a high following their defeat against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Toffees have been without Grealish since January, with the 30-year-old undergoing surgery on his foot.

Jack Grealish returns to Man City following Everton loan

It has to be mentioned that Grealish has made it clear he wants to stay at Everton through some of his recent comments.

However, the 30-year-old was involved in Man City’s trophy parade on Monday, where the club showcased all of the trophies won by Pep Guardiola during his tenure as manager.

Grealish was spotted at the event lifting the Super Cup as he stood alongside Rodri and Noel Gallagher in the lineup of City heroes.

That was a disgraceful performance from Everton… something has to change! 😤

Man City are expected to appoint Enzo Maresca as their new manager, which could potentially throw a spanner in the works for Everton.

It was clear that Grealish had used up all of his opportunities under Guardiola, but a fresh start could be offered under the next manager.

Moyes is a huge fan of Grealish and has made no attempt to hide his desire to bring him back.

Having provided six assists in the opening half of the season, the winger’s output and creativity has certainly been missed on Merseyside.

Another big summer now lies ahead for Everton, with the possible signing of Grealish an indication towards the direction they will take in the market.

For now, the 30-year-old remains a Man City player.
