Jack Grealish’s move to Everton has been an immense success so far, and his latest exclusion from the England squad came as a surprise.

Grealish is one of the most in-form players in the Premier League, and footballing legends have been extremely vocal about him.

Former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler is a ‘massive’ fan of the player and has previously said he wants Grealish to join the Reds.

Meanwhile, Nicky Butt believes Thomas Tuchel already knows he has made a mistake, and the England head coach will u-turn on his opinion about Grealish.

However, while his on-pitch performances cannot be denied, the Everton loanee is also a terrific person off of it, and his goal for England in the 2022 World Cup highlights this.

Jack Grealish dedicates goal to Manchester City fan with cerebral palsy

During November 2022, Jack Grealish met Manchester City fan Jack Finley at an event, and the young fan asked the player to do a specific celebration for his next goal – a worm celebration.

Grealish would not score in the Premier League before taking off to Qatar for football’s most prestigious tournament, the World Cup, and it would not have been a slight on his character had he forgotten about the promise.

However, in England’s inaugural game, the then Manchester City winger was benched but would be subbed on in the 70th minute.

Grealish went on to score the Three Lions’ sixth goal in a 6-2 win over Iran, and as promised, he performed the celebration he was asked to do.

It was an incredibly kind gesture, and it shows the kind of person Jack Grealish is.

The player is incredibly connected to his fans, and at the People’s Club, it is no surprise how quickly both he and the fanbase have taken to each other.

Since making the move to Everton, the winger’s chances of making the 2026 World Cup have gone up tenfold after his latest performances.

His latest exclusion from the squad came as a big surprise, especially after what Tuchel said about Grealish when he took the England job.

Jack Grealish’s England return seems inevitable

With Jack Grealish flying in form, a return to the England set-up feels inevitable rather than a possibility.

He is one of the best-performing English players at the moment, and there are certainly a few in the squad who have not been hitting the heights like he has.

The next international break is not far away, with more World Cup qualifiers taking place in mid-November.

It would be strange if Grealish gets snubbed again. He deserves the call-up.
