Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler has admitted there is one Everton player he would’ve liked to see play for his club.
The clock is ticking down on the first Merseyside Derby of the summer, which will see Everton make the short trip to Anfield.
Current form will see David Moyes’ side go into the game as the underdogs, but there were some players of real quality added over the summer.
Jamie Carragher is wary of Jack Grealish and Iliman Ndiaye potentially causing a ‘vulnerable’ Liverpool some issues on Saturday.

Finding the back of the net on a consistent basis has been an issue for Everton for a number of years now.
It was not an issue for Fowler during his playing career, with the 50-year-old now naming one Everton player he’s always loved to watch.

Robbie Fowler names Everton player he’d like at Liverpool
Ahead of the game, Fowler has predicted Everton to lose against Liverpool, with the Reds expected to show their quality.
However, there is some clear appreciation from the former Liverpool striker in at least one of Everton’s players.
Speaking to Everton News columnist Alan Myers on his Added Time Show, Fowler waxed lyrical about Grealish.
“Some of the quality that Everton have got now… I’m a big fan of Jack Grealish. I think he’s brilliant,” said Fowler.
“I’m not just jumping on the bandwagon now because everyone seems to like him. I’ve been saying it for years that he was probably a player that I wouldn’t have minded at Liverpool.”
Grealish has already been named Player of the Month for August in the Premier League after making an electric start on Merseyside.
The 30-year-old did not provide an assist at the weekend against Villa. So, he will be looking to add to his league-leading tally of four assists against the Reds.

Everton showing fresh ambition by signing Jack Grealish
It was The Friedkin Group’s first summer transfer window in charge at Everton since the takeover back in December.
Signing Grealish really pleased Moyes, with the 62-year-old delighted with some of the business done by the club.
Landing a player of Grealish’s calibre was a real statement of intent in the market, and his impact is already looking like it is paying off.
Michael Keane thinks Everton are lucky to have Grealish at the club, with former players from Everton’s city rivals even praising the signing.
