Everton welcome Manchester United to Goodison Park on Saturday in their latest Premier League outing.

David Moyes’ side kick off the weekend of top-flight football with the early kick-off on Saturday.

Three points for Everton would actually see the Toffees pull four clear of the Red Devils who sit one place below them in the league.

However, Moyes is having to contend with a number of injury issues on Merseyside, particularly in the attacking areas.

Iliman Ndiaye is out for weeks with ligament damage following the recent draw against Liverpool.

One player who will benefit from the forward’s absence is Jack Harrison who had found himself out of the starting XI.

Jack Harrison shines in Everton training

The 28-year-old was handed a start last Saturday against Crystal Palace in the absence of the Senegal international.

Moyes has been impressed with Harrison following his showings in the FA Cup and in the Merseyside Derby.

On Friday, the club shared some footage from training at Finch Farm in which Harrison was spotted.

The winger could be seen scoring four times in Everton training ahead of their game on Saturday against Manchester United.

Jarrad Branthwaite shouted at Harrison during the Liverpool draw but it looks like the Leeds United loanee is doing all he can to improve.

Harrison has been unable to find the back of the net for Everton this season across all competitions.

But Moyes will surely be encouraged by what the winger has been showing in training and how that is translating on the pitch of late.

Martin Sherif also spotted in Everton training

Harrison is not the only player who is making the most of Everton’s injury crisis up top.

Three out of the four senior strikers are currently sidelined through their respective injuries, which has seen Beto really impress Everton fans.

However, the Portuguese forward needs some backup.

Youngster Martin Sherif has been involved with the first team of late and has even been included in the recent matchday squads.

He may be waiting on his debut still, but the 18-year-old certainly seems to be holding his own in first-team training.

Sherif is not going to uproot Beto from the starting XI anytime soon, but it is good to see the youngster offering the senior player some competition.
