Everton are searching for their first points of the season when they open up the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Sunday.
David Moyes was left far from impressed with the performance against Leeds United on Monday evening.
The 62-year-old manager admitted his side got what they deserved, with the penalty proving the difference between the sides.
“Leeds were better than us on the night, certainly in the first half,” he said.
“In the second half alone, we might’ve had a chance of winning the game but the goal was completely wrong, really harsh.
Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville backed the penalty award, which sparked controversy across the Premier League.
However, Carragher may have shown his true Everton colours with a very honest answer involving the Toffees.

Jamie Carragher says Everton kit is his favourite of all time
Carragher did joke about the Everton stadium name, but the former Liverpool defender has shown his affection for the Blues.
The Sky Sports pundit has a long-standing history with Everton, and his historic ties have been put on display for all to see.
After being asked what his favourite football kit of all time is, Carragher admitted it was one from Everton’s history books.
“The 1984/85 Everton kit,” Carragher quickly responded.
In that season, Everton finished as First Division champions, with players like Neville Southall and Peter Reid playing for the Blues.
Ironically, Carragher has admitted Southall is the best goalkeeper to have played the game.
Despite having only played for Liverpool in his senior career, his Everton history is clear with some of his answers about his footballing past.
What Jamie Carragher has said about supporting Everton
Carragher does not have to wait long for the first instalment of the Merseyside Derby, which takes place on 20 September at Anfield.
“I was probably born at the best time to be an Evertonian. It was brilliant to be a kid at school, with that rivalry between Everton and Liverpool,” said Carragher.
“But I was at Liverpool from nine years of age. I had a year with Everton when I was like 11 or 12, and I thought: ‘What have I done here?’ It was just gradual [changing teams].”
Despite his links with the red side, Carragher has praised Everton and Iliman Ndiaye specifically.
