Jordan Pickford has been the subject of interest from Chelsea ahead of the summer transfer window.
Everton sit in a comfortable position when it comes to Pickford’s future given the goalkeeper still has three years left on his deal.
There is a belief that Chelsea are monitoring Pickford as an option ahead of Xabi Alonso’s arrival over the coming weeks.
What would you say to Angus Kinnear after THAT loss to Sunderland? 😤
Something has to change… 😭
However, the 32-year-old has already shared why a move to the west London outfit is highly unlikely.

Why Jordan Pickford will not leave Everton for Chelsea
Pickford believes Everton are a massive club, having spent the last nine years of his career on Merseyside.
Finch Farm has become Pickford’s home and the 32-year-old has firmly become a part of the furniture at the club.
“We’ve just got that bond, really. You know what it’s like here – the gaffer calls it “The People’s Club,” and it’s been named that for a reason,” Pickford said on The Wayne Rooney Show.
“The staff is brilliant; they’ve been nothing but good to me. They took a chance on me as a 22-year-old kid, and I think I’ve repaid them. I just love being here.”
Everton may be set to miss out on Europe, but the prospect of joining a club as turbulent as Chelsea may not appeal to many players currently.
Pickford has backed Moyes despite the recent frustrations on Merseyside, with the Everton goalkeeper looking set to remain at the club over the near future.
Given he has established himself as the England number one whilst playing for Everton, some may question why Pickford would want to move on.
Ultimately, the 32-year-old will want to end his career having lifted silverware, but Chelsea’s lack of consistency in any department of the club does not exactly scream success in west London.
The Friedkin Group want to take Everton forward and allowing a player of Pickford’s importance to leave would not send out the right message for their project on Merseyside.
