Everton failed to beat Wolves on Wednesday evening as they were held to a 1-1 draw on their own patch.

Everton went down to nine men in the second half after Michael Keane and Jack Grealish were shown red cards.

Grealish had arguably his worst game for the Toffees since joining on a season-long loan deal from Manchester City.

Sum that up for us… 😡

Cannot believe how that second half panned out!

The only positive was Harrison Armstrong’s impressive performance as he made his first Premier League start of the season.

Jordan Pickford was spotted doing something at the full-time whistle, which says everything about how he felt about the match.

Jordan Pickford seen remonstrating with the referee after Everton vs Wolves

Emotions were running high at the full-time whistle as Everton players were left furious with some of the referee’s decisions.

Keane’s red card in particular was highly contentious, as he was given his marching orders for a slight hair grab.

What on earth is the referee thinking here? 😡

ANOTHER shocking decision against Everton!

Evidently, Pickford was one of those players who struggled to contain his frustrations, as he was seen remonstrating with Thomas Kirk after the game.

Footage has emerged of the Toffees’ shot-stopper sighing and shrugging his shoulders whilst in discussions with the officials.

Some Everton fans are calling for the club to appeal the decision in the hope of having Keane’s three-match suspension rescinded.

What games will Michael Keane miss?

Well, if Keane’s red card stands and Everton fail to get it overturned, the 32-year-old will miss the next three games.

Suspensions from the Premier League can be served in the FA Cup, so the third round clash against Sunderland this weekend will count.

Here are the three games Keane will miss.

That means the veteran centre-back will be back on the 31st of January, when the Toffees face Brighton on the South Coast.
