Chris Sutton has made his prediction ahead of Everton’s trip to Liverpool this weekend.
Writing in his BBC Sport column, the pundit suggested the Reds’ midfielders could be ‘too strong’ for Everton to cope with.
The Toffees head to Anfield on Saturday after winning three of their last four matches in all competitions.
After a horrific start that saw them fail to score a goal in their opening three games, Everton‘s attack have since found their shooting boots and have most recently put three past Bournemouth.
Meanwhile, Liverpool endured their first defeat of the campaign against Tottenham Hotspur last month, before they were held to a draw by Brighton prior to the international break.
Jurgen Klopp’s side remain fourth in the Premier League table, but will be searching for their first league win in a month.

Despite Liverpool suffering a number of injury problems ahead of the meeting, Chris Sutton is confident that Everton won’t be able to break them down in their own back garden.
“Everton’s overall record against Liverpool is pretty wretched, with one win home or away since 2010, and I can’t see much changing this time,” Sutton said.
“I don’t think the Reds will run away with it but I’ve been very impressed by Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister in their midfield, and they have got so many talented attackers. It just feels like they will be too strong for the Toffees.
“Liverpool have beaten Everton by two goals at Anfield in each of the past two seasons, so I am going to go with that same scoreline. I would have gone with a goal for Everton but my daughter is telling me 2-0 again, so I am going to listen to her.”
Can Everton cause an upset? Chris Sutton thinks not…
Liverpool are clearly the favourites to win the Merseyside derby, as they always are.
However, Everton’s confidence is probably the highest it has been in a very long time and this could be a very good time to play them.

The Reds are without Andy Robertson this weekend, which could give someone like Jack Harrison a lot of hope going down that right flank.
While the Toffees will have to pull off an exceptional performance to take anything away from Anfield, the likes of Brighton, West Ham and Bournemouth have proven that their defence is far from rock solid.
