Leicester City are closing in on the signing of a rumoured Everton target.
Everton have made four additions so far this summer with Iliman Ndiaye, Tim Iroegbunam, Jesper Lindstrom and Jake O’Brien all joining Sean Dyche’s squad.
There aren’t expected to be many other arrivals, if any, but Dyche will still be hopeful of landing at least one before the window shuts at the end of the month, as he eyes another midfielder and a striker.
Though, he’s now set to miss out on a rumoured target.

Everton to miss out on Yaser Asrprilla
Everton were looking to sign Watford winger Yaser Asprilla earlier in the window, with some reports suggesting they were really pushing for his signature along with Arsenal.
However, it now seems as though newly-promoted Leicester City have stolen a march and put themselves in pole position.
According to Foot Mercato, The Foxes have entered the race for Asprilla and are willing to pay up to £21m.
The Columbia international, labelled as ‘special’ per Watford’s YouTube channel, is thought to be on his way to the East Midlands for further talks, so if Everton are still in the market for a wide player, they’ll have to look elsewhere.
Everton could look at Reiss Nelson
If Dyche is still looking to sign a winger this summer, perhaps Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson should be an option.
Nelson has been of interest to West Ham United and Leicester this summer but both have signed alternative targets.
So, Arsenal may be prepared to lower their asking price as the window nears its end, which could allow The Toffees a viable chance to bring him to Goodison Park.
