Everton could have a fairly sizable transfer kitty for the January window.
With the Freidkin Group set to takeover Everton, there’s a new-found air of positivity around Goodison Park.
Everton have been in limbo far too long but Alan Myers has recently claimed that all is going according to plan, so the new ownership group should be in post before the new year.
That means Dyche could have some additional funds to spend in January and the recruitment team have already identified a highly-rated talent.
Though, he’s just been urged to ignore the transfer speculation and stay focused at his current club.

Luke Molyneux urges Everton target Chris Rigg to ignore transfer speculation
Last month, it emerged that Everton are keeping tabs on Sunderland midfielder Chris Rigg ahead of the January transfer window.
Manchester United and Liverpool are also showing an interest in the 17-year-old, so clearly competition for his signature this winter will be rife.
The £25m-rated man continues to shine for the Championship table toppers and with that, talks of an exit from the Stadium of Light are beginning to increase.
Former Sunderland prospect Luke Molyneux, who is now at Doncaster Rovers, has now urged Rigg to ignore the transfer speculation.
“I just feel like he just needs to keep his head down and not focus on any of the noise outside of his camp and just keep doing what he’s doing because he’s a top player obviously what is he, just 17 years old? And he’s performing like he is on the big stage,” Molyneux told the Sunderland Echo.
Molyneux also labelled Rigg as ‘incredible’.
Rigg statistics compared to Abdoulaye Doucoure and Idrissa Gueye
If Everton were to land Rigg’s highly sought-after signature in January, he’d likely be competing against Abdoulaye Doucoure and Idrissa Gueye for a place in Dyche’s starting line-up.
Here are how their statistics compare.
| Stats per 90 | Chris Rigg | Abdoulaye Doucoure | Idrissa Gueye |
| Pass completion % | 77.6 | 76.4 | 83.6 |
| Tackles | 1.62 | 1.46 | 3.74 |
| Non-penalty xG | 0.27 | 0.15 | 0.19 |
| Succesful take-ons | 1.51 | 0.62 | 0.43 |
Evidently, Rigg provides a much greater attacking threat, so his potential arrival could help the Toffees to create more in the final third.
