Everton are preparing for a transformative summer transfer window.
Finally, Everton are set to be free from their PSR restrictions which will allow the Friedkin Group to hand David Moyes a healthy budget.
Moyes already has his eye Burnley’s Maxime Esteve, who has enjoyed a sensational campaign in the Championship.
Esteve could replace Jarrad Branthwaite as Manchester United continue to circle the Everton centre-back.
Moyes is also expected to dip into the market for a striker and Richarlison has been heavily linked with a return to Goodison Park.
However, there’s now an update on that transfer and it’s bad news for the Toffees.

Richarlison likely to join Saudi Pro League
Richarlison has been teasing Everton fans on social media for weeks and there has been a belief that a return to Goodison Park is on the cards this summer.
However, journalist Jorge Nicola, via Bolavip Brasil, has now poured cold water on that move as he explains that the Tottenham Hotspur forward is likely to join a Saudi Pro League side.
“Unable to play due to a series of injuries at Tottenham and ruling out returning to Brazil, Richarlison is more likely to move to Saudi Arabia. Two clubs have already signalled with big offers for the middle of the year,” Nicola said.
It’s thought the two offers could see his £90,000-a-week wages doubled, so it’s pretty much impossible for Everton to match or even come close to that contract proposal.
Everton should pull the plug on Richarlison transfer
Everton have landed themselves in financial woes in recent years due to their erratic spending on transfer fees and player wages.
Any forthcoming deal to sign Richarlison would now cost an extraordinary amount of cash, with the Saudi Pro League making two offers.
So, the Friedkin Group must take learning from the previous regime’s errors and stay clear from the Richarlison transfer.
Instead, Everton should turn their attention to Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap, who is much younger and probably available for a significantly lower fee.
Delap has a £30m release clause that will become active if Ipswich suffer relegation, which looks inevitable at this stage.
