Everton midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has been delighted by scenes at Finch Farm.
With the season having ended only a few weeks ago, there is not a great deal happening right now.
With Jack Grealish done for the season, let us know your verdict on his campaign! 🤔
He provided six assists and two goals in the Premier League 👏
The World Cup has commenced, which is a welcome distraction from the lack of activity.
But at Finch Farm, there is still some work being done – and one player at Everton has been there working hard.
Jack Grealish takes big step in recovery from injury
Back in January, Everton were rocked when Jack Grealish picked up a serious foot injury.
The winger had just played against his former club Aston Villa, and came through the game fine.
But a couple of days later, it was reported he had suffered an injury, and then fans were left gutted when the severity of it became clear.

Grealish needed surgery, and that game against Villa would be his last appearance of the season.
Undoubtedly, Everton then missed Grealish during the run-in.
It’s thought Everton officials felt Grealish’s ball retention ability could have been especially useful for Everton, in terms of killing momentum and seeing games out better.
A couple of weeks ago, Grealish posted a picture of himself doing rehab work at Finch Farm which went down well with fans.
Now, he’s taken the next step, returning to the grass,
In a new Instagram post, a delighted Grealish said: “Ahhh man can’t even explain how good this felt! 5 months ago since I last put my boots on.. Back on the grass today! Best feeling ever man. Time to get ready!! ⚽️”
The post already has hundreds of comments, including from Kieran Dewsbury-Hall, who said ‘Beautiful scenes 😍👨🏼🐰👨🏻’.
Tom King, who Grealish counts as one of his best friends at Everton, said ‘It’s good really good 👏’.
Former Everton midfielder Ross Barkley also reacted, commenting ‘🙌🙌’
Grealish post bodes well for Everton
That Grealish is back on the pitches at Finch Farm is great to see, and also promising in terms of him coming back next season.
A lot of other players in the same scenario would have probably returned to their parent club to continue rehab.
What should Everton be willing to pay to bring back Grealish over the summer? 💰
But clearly he’s happy to continue working back to fitness at Everton, and that is surely good for Everton’s hopes of signing him.
It was recently reported that incoming Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca could give Grealish a new lease of life, but it does feel telling that Grealish remains on Merseyside to conduct his fitness work.
