A decision on Jack Grealish’s future at Everton is nearing as his loan deal is set to come to a conclusion.

Everton are looking to make a quick start to the summer transfer window and work has already begun when it comes to Grealish.

There is a belief that Everton have opened talks for Grealish with Manchester City, in an attempt to try and keep him on Merseyside.

Although players are now jetting off on holiday and some even to the World Cup, Grealish remains at Finch Farm.

Jack Grealish shares Everton update amid transfer talks

Andy Burnham has pleaded with Grealish to remain at Everton and the winger’s attitude has certainly suggested he would like to stay.

On Tuesday, the 30-year-old posted an Instagram story of himself working independently at Finch Farm on an exercise bike.

Grealish remained in Everton training gear, with his professionalism there for all to see as he tries to recover from his surgery earlier in the year.

Speaking in the latter stages of the season, Grealish admitted his rehabilitation was going well following conversations with his surgeon.

A decision is there to be made by Everton, but it could be taken out of their hands following changes at the Etihad Stadium.

Enzo Maresca is a big fan of Grealish and some reports are even suggesting the Italian could look to hand the forward one final chance with City.

Although Everton hold the option to buy Grealish, the believed £50m option is not going to be taken up due to the enormity of the fee.

Grealish is certainly doing himself no harm with those on Merseyside as he continues to work on his recovery back at Finch Farm.

Although Grealish has suggested he’d like to remain at Everton, there is nothing certain in football, with a return to Man City not off the table.
